Please check your junk email folder for an email from email@example.com. This will be your verification email. If the email is not there, please try registering again, checking you are typing your email address correctly.
The link in the email for registration should be clicked on the phone the app is installed on. It will not work on a desktop PC or a phone that does not have the app installed. Please ensure that you are verifying your account on the same device that you have the app installed on.
If the verification email has to be forward to a different email account, it is recommended to send it as an attachment to a new email, rather than just forwarding it, as some email accounts remove the link when it is forwarded.
Once you have the email, if you are experiencing issues, please try the following:
- Press and hold down the “Verify your device” button in the email.
- This should then offer a pop-up with options including “copy link”.
- Select “copy link” then open the web browser on your device and paste the link in.
Please note, the link expires after 5 minutes. A new one can be generated by trying to log into the McDonald’s App.
